StoryJumper is a place to create and discover stories for children. Although the main target audience is at the elementary level, I would also use it with middle school students. The process of creating their own book can be rewarding for children of all ages. This resource could be a complementary piece in a short story unit. Students can create their own characters and develop a story around the different personalities involved.
StoryJumper is not a complicated tool to operate, so all students should be able to participate in these activities without much difficulty. I view this resource as being extremely valuable to students who are on an Individual Program Plan and need assistance with their studies. The elements and options on this website have support systems in place for students who want to create their own story.
